Parry Sound | Recreational Cabin

Custom Cottage – Parry Sound, Ontario

Scope:

One, 3-bedroom, 1,500 sq. ft. home

Year-round cottage retreat

Overview:

A fully customized cabin nestled in Parry Sound, Ontario, designed as a retreat tailored to the specific needs of its owner. This project blends rustic charm with practical functionality, offering a personalized space for rest, recreation, and outdoor living.

Construction of a custom-built cabin intended for seasonal recreational and year-round living.

PROJECT SIGNIFICANCE:
This build represents more than a home. It’s a legacy project for the client, built to support a lifestyle rooted in nature, self-sufficiency, and quiet retreat. From early planning through to final handoff, the project is being managed with close collaboration between Arcwell Developments and the client to ensure it reflects the client’s vision.

Cape Breton, NS | Residential Housing

Membertou First Nation Syndey, Nova Scotia

Scope:

Three, 6-bedroom, 2,000 sq. ft. split-entry homes

End Use:

Family housing

Overview:

Completion of three, 2000 sqft split-entry homes built to support larger or multi-generational families. Completed as end-to-end homes across two projects with full site work and finishes, in partnership with community trades.

SCOPE:
Construction of 3 split-entry homes
Location: Membertou First Nation territory
Start Date: March 2024 (Project I)
Completion Date: May 2025 (Project II)

The homes are strategically placed within the Membertou First Nation territory to provide residents with:
Access to community services
Proximity to local amenities
Integration with existing infrastructure

Powell River, BC | Complex Care Housing

Tla’ Amin First Nation – Powell River, British Columbia

Scope:

Four, 1-bedroom, 560 sq. ft. bungalows

End Use:

Designed for individuals with complex care needs

Overview:

Four custom-built homes designed for individuals with complex care needs. Delivered by barge, completed with local trades, and strategically located near essential services.

SCOPE:
Construction of 4 bungalows

Mississaugas of Scugog Island First Nation (MSIFN) – Port Perry, Ontario

Scope:

Two, 2 and 3-bedroom, 1,500 sq. ft. split-entry homes

End Use:

Custom designed for community members

Overview:

Two thoughtfully designed bungalows built to support families within the Port Perry community. Each home offers a comfortable, accessible living space that meets the needs of multigenerational households, allowing residents to live, grow, and age in place.

SCOPE:
Construction of two self-contained housing units

Nova Scotia | Emergency Site Support

Hants County, Nova Scotia Project

Scope:

Foundations for 6 modular homes

End Use:

Site preparation for pre-manufactured housing

Overview:

Emergency winter mobilization to complete insulated concrete foundations. Work was completed on a tight timeline to avoid penalties and ensure rapid modular installation.
