Arcwell Developments is a development and general contracting company dedicated to addressing Canada’s pressing affordable housing shortage through innovative, rapid, and sustainable solutions. Our mission is to redefine housing and community infrastructure by leveraging cutting-edge prefabricated and modular construction methods. We are seeking an experienced Office Administrator to join our team and alongside our managing partners to make meaningful contributions to the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administrative Support:
- Day to day office administration tasks and administrative support.
- Manage digital filing systems and maintain records
- Coordinate virtual meetings and manage calendars
- Handle correspondence and communications
- Coordinate travel arrangements as required.
- Attend requested meetings and take minutes.
- Business Development:
- Research and identify potential business opportunities.
- Locate and analyze Request for Proposals (RFPs) from various online sources.
- Evaluate RFPs for alignment with company capabilities and goals.
- Prepare initial summaries of suitable RFPs for the sales team.
3.Project Coordination:
- Assist in tracking project timelines and deliverables
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an office administrator or in a similar role.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and other productivity tools.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Remote/Hybrid Work flexibility.
Great to Haves:
- Proficiency using ai tools like ChatGpt and Perplexity.
- Proficiency using Microsoft Excel
- Proficiency using Canva or similar tools.
Additional Information:
- This position will report directly to the managing partners, providing direct support to the leadership team.
- The Office Administrator will integrate with all areas of the business, including; finance, construction lead and sales team.
- In office day may be required
This is a 6-month part-time (2 days per week) contract position with the potential for extension based on performance and business needs.
